Are you “hopeful” knowing this guy teaches at Unit 5 and serves on the County Board? Are you “hopeful” knowing his wife was just elected to the Bloomington City Council?

.
Woke and mad is a winning message?
Are you “hopeful” seeing this? Diversity is just a talking point. The 2 Wards and 2 District these people represent don’t have any. (Nothing better than a teacher who can’t spell)

Yes, power couples because that is the only If only reside thing they are interested in–power, not public service.
OMG!!!!!
They all seem to not have to be at their jobs. How ? How much time off days do teachers at olympia get? how many hours is Cody Hendricks in the classroom teaching students in olympia?
And his wife Eric Hansen. how did he get hired at the museum in the first place ? why is Eric Hansen’s county ‘job’ even a paid position ? what are the hours he is expected to be working coordinating volunteers ? . do other museum employees get the same time off ? How many employees does a local museum even need ?
Corey Bierne. when is this guy ever in the classroom teaching students either ? he is constantly out and about during school hrs.
Corey’s wife Abby Scott works at state farm so she has very generous community service and pto leave etc so she is most likely legit.. but..
all the others are taxpayer salaries so they are basically committing wage theft and fraud to flit around cosplaying as politicians during working hrs.
A lot to say here, here’s the list:
* Eric Hansen is not Cody Hendrick’s “wife” 🤣
* It’s not uncommon for local elected officials to have other jobs. How they manage their time is their responsibility, their work ethic is for their current employers to decide. As they are all employed we can deduce they are doing this in a way that Unit 5, Olympia, etc. deems satisfying.
*The local museum is a staple of the community and does more than just “tours”
* How many of these people got hired is, again, the employer’s business.
*Random note: I love you said “cosplaying” as politicians as if these aren’t elected officials.
*McLean County Board and City Council seats do not make livable salaries, in fact they don’t even come close to livable salaries. The hours, however, are extreme and balancing two jobs — oftentimes demonstrating more public service — is a handful and takes many hours. They aren’t committing wage theft and take well under what they should have.
I’m optimistic about the future. Leaders who label dissenters as trolls, curmudgeons, bigots, fascists, or Nazis won’t hold power for long. The divisive push for equity is losing ground as people awaken—not to “wokeness,” but to reason, truth and a Christ centered worldview.
I’m hopeful as we see more and more young people turning away from the lies and identity-centered worldview of the woke.
I genuinely sympathize with the challenges Corey faces. There are more important things than being powerful and angrily seeking retribution.
Revenge of the nerds.
They think they are power couples? LOL–hysterical. These “protests” are not even 1 percent of elected persons in McLean County. How many attend? 50? 75? Put it on social media when you get 1000 to attend and the right shows up to protest. Outside of that job, get back to work.
Watch the funny speech by Beirne on Illinois education. He wants us to protect public school’s commitment to racist Equity ideology. He alerts us to the fact that a grade schooler from Bloomington/Normal might be the first to land on Mars someday. There are three problems with that.
1. Beirne and the democrats want to put Musk out of business or lock him up.
2. Illinois children that can’t read or do math at grade level in K-12 probably won’t be on the short list to go.
3. We don’t need social justice warriors on Mars.
It’s a little hard to hear but count the number of Nazi salutes he gives to the crowd. 🙂 8-10? Who would have thought!
Wow, this guy has serious mental issues. What the hell is a power couple in BN? Power to do what? Also, what’s with the eye patch? I would bet when this guy was in junior high and high school, he probably got stuffed in lockers, his underwear pulled up his you know what and his lunch money stolen. Once people like that become adults, they overcompensate and have to gain attention anyway they can. He sounds delirious and not in control of his faculties. If I had a child in anyone of his classes, I would be in the principal’s office asking for a different teacher or pulling my kid out of his class. Unit 5 has some serious problems.
More like…. the odd couple
