I was heartened yesterday when I saw this from the McLean County Democrats:

Then I read the comments. Some of them set the tone people should have when a political assassination occurs. However some of them reflect the fact that evil does exist in this world. Evil has infected some those minds who don’t bother to get facts – they just spewed the hate someone created for them.
Charlie Kirk was not a white supremacist or a man who hated anyone. He was murdered because he loved people. Evil can’t tolerate love.
Charlie knew he was a target, I’m sure his wife knew he was a target. Charlie’s two daughters will grow up with video of the many hours of encounters their dad had with college kids. Unfortunately they will grow up without him.
Charlie is home in heaven. Turning Point USA wasn’t silenced. Pray God showers his family with the peace the passing all understanding. He will.

Absolutely nothing from Corey Beirne, Krystal Able, Lizzie Johnston, the list goes on. Patrick Cortesie made a comment but it’s pretty silent from every other Democrat in town. They have an opinion about everything until something like this happens then magically it’s silent.
This assassination was a political act, committed by democrat supporter/s and most are democrat politicians. You have to wonder if they’re cheering with the rest of the crazies. Until we hear differently, you really have to wonder.
You don’t know the motive of the shooting. What if it is a disaffected Republican or an unhappy Trump supporter? No one is in custody and the FBI has no suspect or person of interest.
Absolutely no one is cheering Mr. Kirk’s death. It is true however that his rhetoric along with Trump’s rhetoric have made political discourse less civil. It’s also disingenuous highlight this violence and ignore other shootings that have claimed other lives to gun violence.
Where were you when the former Speaker of the House of Minnesota was gunned down with her husband and dog? Where were you when children at Uvalde school were massacred? Where were you when children were gunned down while attending morning church? Where were you when 20 6 year-old were massacred? People have been gunned down attending concerts, attending movies; in church during Bible study and in Jewish Temples. Gun violence has been a source for the death of too many people and is the leading cause of death for children. Our country’s culture is at fault.
Mr. Kirk stated that gun violence was the price we pay for the 2nd Amendment. Mr. Kirk was hoisted by his own Petard. Divisive rhetoric by Trump supporters is adding to this pandemic of political violence.
Pointing fingers at Democrats is also adding to any violence that might happen because of assumptions made before anyone knows who was responsible or their motivation. Maybe if you want to stop “evil” you should look in the mirror.

The Network Contagion Research Institute (NCRI) Survey in April 2025, showed that 48% of leftists believe murdering Elon Musk is “somewhat justified” and 55% say the same about Donald Trump. These kinds of evil sentiments are not shared by conservatives that were polled.
How many Democrats do you know? Apparently none. You must live a very sheltered life.I don’t know any Democrat that mentioned once murdering Musk or Trump. Neither of Trump would be assassins were Democrats but Republicans. So entire your theory is nonsense. Most of mass shooters are not politically motivated at all.

Also read the report you mentioned it’s a survey with only percentages and doesn’t mention Democrats or “libs” at all. You can sit around blaming shadowy nonexistent “libs” or you can realize if you and especially Kirk talk about gun violence as the price we have to pay to have the 2nd Amendment then maybe you shouldn’t be surprised that gun violence would hit home. Is this what you’re talking about: Just hours after an assailant gunned down conservative commentator Charlie Kirk on the Utah Valley University campus Wednesday, voice messages containing a torrent of expletive-laden insults were sent to Democratic members of the Utah state House, blaming them for Kirk’s killing, according to audio of two calls obtained by ABC News.
The calls came in just after 10 p.m. on Wednesday night to House Democrats’ staff work numbers from an unidentified male caller, who called the Democrats “demons” and “enemies to the American people.”
“You should find somewhere else to f—ing live. You murderous terrorist animals, you despicable f—ing subhuman, f—ing violent, disgusting f—ing animals. You murdered that man in front of his f—ing family, you evil f—ing pieces of s—, subhuman f—ing garbage,” the man said. “I don’t even want to see the f—ing color blue in the state of Utah ever again. I’m gonna burn everything blue in my entire f—ing house.”
Antifa means Anti fascist. My parents fought fascism during WWII and won the war. There is no such entity as Antifa. It doesn’t exist. Who is the head of “Antifa”? No one.
Apparently the person who left that message was exercising his free speech against Democrats in a hateful rant. But if someone else expresses an opinion on Mr. Kirk, they should be hunted down a lose their jobs. What about the many people who have made threats against Democrats a major political party? If a Democratic official is shot and killed because of people threatening their lives, then are you going to be happy? Apparently according to you political violence is fine against Democrats.

I think it’s a good idea to let these leftist on this blog. It lets us see into their mind set, crazy and twisted as it might be. I look at NBC, CBS, USA Today, not just FOX. To me it’s gather intelligence of the enemy. And it can be entertaining. Especially how they lie by omission…… sneaky SOBs.

Do you believe that Charlie had it coming? Do you believe that assassination is the proper response to someone expressing their beliefs? It sounds like it.
My question on the heals of the NIOT pledge drive is what do our local politicians say about the assassination of Charlie Kirk?
Especially if they called Trump a Nazi in the past, or if they comment daily about national politics but now have gone silent in the face of this. The left often says “silence is violence”. The crickets are deafening. I’ll give you credit though. You are standing up for what you believe.

This horrendous act might be the lefts undoing. Our system has gotten too soft. Too tolerant. To inclusive. Punishment for violent crimes must be swift and harsh. No longer can we afford to turn the other check. Assassination attempts on President Trump, the assassination of Charlie Kirk, stabbing of the girl in the subway, rioters, car jackers, it’s getting out of control. To paraphrase one of my favorite movie lines, ‘it’s time to get mid-evil on their ass’.
Why anyone would assassinate a father of two is beyond me.
It was this morning I was looking thru my Youtube feed and I saw a video from a news agency covering those who cheered the loss of Kirk. First I don’t know why anyone would give them the time of day much less some news agency covering their utter sickness. We have some really sick mental people in this country.
Someone really had to know what they were doing to take that one shot. Probably not something any average person would be capable of doing. I hope they find the person and everyone connected to them. If there ever was a reason for the death penalty this would be the reason why.
A relative and myself pretty much agree that with the decrease in the consequences of a crime, crime seems to be rising.

Maybe we should consider that those who cheered are beyond redemption. They have so much evil and hate in their hearts that they will not be saved and they are just showing us what they are. Charlie is with Jesus but how horrific and what a huge loss for his family and for all of us. Those that aren’t reprobates on the Left were mortified. I have two liberal daughters who consoled me and one of them cried and said she can’t stop thinking about it. Her friend texted me and said he’s learning how to debate in his English class but what’s the point if you can get shot for it. The Left is losing people everyday by showing how wicked and insensitive they are. We may have lost Charlie but Jesus always wins. Love wins. I’ve decided to have more extreme views now. I think it’s time to stand outside abortion clinics. Charlie saved many unborn deaths by changing the Moms minds. There’s a man who stands outside an abortion clinic in Chicago with his church that I follow on fb. Time to put my mouth where my heart is again.

I just read a quote that said if you don’t think this is one of the darkest days in American history you are the problem. It’s sad how many leaders In our community have not spoken out about this violence. Same with our love is love community not speaking out about the transgender shooters in schools. The obscene words on protesters signs in downtown Bloomington. Those who believe abortion is healthcare not murder. I can’t believe how people are celebrating violence. It’s sad to see how far down humanity has gone.

Did I agree with most of what he said? Nope. Did he deserve to die for what he said? Absolutely not. He was a father, husband, and son. I’ve worked on a college campus for close to 30 years, I think what he did with his organization on college campuses, was a good thing, even though I didn’t agree with many of its beliefs. Colleges are supposed to be places for a free exchange of ideas. You can’t drown out one side and have that exchange. You would see publicly the hundreds and thousands who came out to see or debate him. What you didn’t see, and what I think is more important, were the discussions that occurred in classrooms after he left. His presence caused those important discussion to happen. I hope his organization continues it.
The comments I’ve seen online are deplorable. Much of it likely started by those deliberately wanting to divide the country even further. I hope people tune it out. I really hope…

The State of Utah still has the death penalty. A firing squad is one of the options. Once this dirt bag has been found guilty, execution should be televised.
