2 Events today, School Boards tomorrow

1)

Be The Change

Today would have been Charlie Kirk’s birthday

7:00pm Location: Miller Park Bloomington IL.

🌟 About This Event:
This gathering is about honoring Charlie’s faith, courage, and strength.

The event will feature speeches, including words from a close friend of Charlie, and time to share stories, make connections, and lift one another up. While some parts may lean conservative, our goal is to create a space where everyone feels welcome and respected.

Together, we’ll gather in fellowship, share in community, and praise Jesus — all while seeking a healthier, more peaceful future for our state.

Two Public Hearings are on the Agenda:

The School Board does not want to hear from citizens. Public Comment is at the END of the meeting. They also don’t record and post meetings.

5)

Tri-Valley meets at 6:00 tomorrow

Tri-Valley CUSD #3 Unit Office

Agenda: https://tri-valley3.community.highbond.com/Portal/MeetingInformation.aspx?Org=Cal&Id=185

No video from them either.

I was told the McLean County Executive Committee meeting last night was canceled: https://mcleancountyil.gov/AgendaCenter/ViewFile/Agenda/1042?html=true

Evidently they didn’t have a quorum. No video is posted and no cancelation notice either. Everything on the Agenda is now delayed a month.

Don’t blame the two Republicans:

  1. Wonderful! Glad you posted the opportunity to speak and address elected officials. Great idea. In honor of Charlie Kirks Birthday, I will be addressing the Springfield City Council Aldermen with my grievances. While they disobeyed their own Springfield Illinois policy that demands they follow all state and Federal law, they broke Federal Law, with No Repercussions. How is it that elected officials can go Scott-free after violating the Constitution they took an oath to? I am Charlie Kirk!

  2. It is my understanding that items to be voted on by the County Board have to go through the Executive Committee first. Wonder how the cancellation will affect the regular session of the County Board on Thursday.
