I am sorry I am just learning of the meeting reading this post, but all above emails are PERFECT and address every bit of the lunacy of the leftist group which this person represents. My thanks to those email writers and I am praying they are there in the meeting tonight along with hundreds of others seeking for this man to be immediately removed and blocked from any/ all school boards as he and his kind are a SICKNESS to our nation, destroying our youth and future freedoms!!

I’m just curious, Diane. Why do you keep engaging these wierdos? Trolling your blog during/after a school board meeting is further proof that this isn’t really a student. At that age, I was far more concerned with more important teenager things. This “teenage” obsession with you is not normal. Stay safe.

I thought Chad did a good job, but as neighbors we couldn’t be more different in our perspectives. I 100% support his right to speak but didnt agree with any of it. Yes, of the 16 speakers, MAGA was the minority but everyone there stated course correction plainly; the board president needs to apologize and state why, and educators must act as employees before they are citizens. If you’re unsure, check the U5 employee handbook.
No one should resign, no one should be fired. Everyone needs to take it down a notch and focus on why we’re there; to protect the environment where our community kids learn. High school kids need to be exposed to critical thinking and we should let the professionals do it. Republicans and democrats both need to get out of the classroom. It is SO dangerous to be spitting propaganda without counterpoint and analysis, which can’t be done in 3 minutes. We adults need to speak better and if anything needs to be great again, it’s adults using their words more carefully.
What was so fun last night was participating in diversity and accountability. It didn’t matter what “side” you were on, we all wanted the same thing last night, humble, honest accountability from public officials. All the speakers were respectful and it was glorious. I love that we can speak truth to power, and for me, we need to hear it from everyone. Thank you to everyone who stepped up to Chad and shook his hand in the parking lot, we were just two friends on opposite ideological planes enjoying each other’s company.
Finally, this “indoctrination” claim is so silly. I don’t know when it became popular but it reminds me of the Princess Bride, “I don’t think that word means what you think it does”.
