All this week I likely won’t be posting anything early. We have a huge yard and garden and I will be outside very early to avoid the heat which just hit at 10:00 am today.
This week we celebrate 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence. This is a great week to find some REAL history. The country was already at war with Great Britain, the signing just made it official. Every signer knew they were marked for death by signing. Would you have signed?
Many people from foreign countries are here for FIFA. If you want to see what they think of America, go to YouTube and search: FIFA Visitors Love America.
While on YouTube search: 50 State Fair Washington DC. NBC News made an X post shocked it wasn’t pollical. 🤦♀️
My new favorite to watch is an immigrant (legal) and now citizen from England: Andy.In.America on Instagram. Even he is shocked people love his short videos from Arkansas. Mostly he is amazed by everything here people don’t have in England. On one he is fascinated by a screen door with sliding glass to let in air and a metal piece that could hold the door open. Watching him is like watching a kid discover the new world he is thrilled to now be a part of.
Every culture is not the same. The YouTube videos and Andy will make you thankful to have been born in this country. If you aren’t proud, you know nothing about American greatness and you have no interest in learning what you missed.
Let Freedom Ring. Happy early Independence day.

Don’t forget this event Thursday:
