Remember the Wisconsin bar that offered free beer on the day President Trump is assassinated? https://townhall.com/tipsheet/amy-curtis/2026/07/28/minocqua-brewing-loses-license-n2680214

.
Guess who was there having a beer? The guy who thinks he deserves your vote in November:

.
The good news is:

If the local League of Women Voters doesn’t want to be identified as Democrats while claiming to be non-partisan, they need to quit holding events using Democrat ideology words and symbols:

3)
The LWV, including the supposed nonpartisan Bloomington Election Commission board member Diana Hauman, had a table at Pridefest:

4)
McLean County Democrats were there too. Big government doesn’t create anything but higher taxes and more interference in commerce. All of these people raised your taxes. Nothing is Better, Fairer, or Brighter with this gang:

Below are pictures of a damaged solar farm located near San Jose Il:

A reader sent the pic because he thinks this damage happened over a year ago and nobody seems to care enough to fix it:

Your tax dollars subsidized this. Government sure protects the investment made with your money. 🤦♀️

I bet nobody asked Alex Duffy if he approves of the luxury housing on the circle the Normal Town Council just approved. Somebody should. Next ask him if it’s government’s job to subsidize affordable housing. Doesn’t EQUITY demand at least a small part of all these new apartments be Section 8?
From NextDoor:

McLean County added a RED solar light above the stop signs at Route 9 and Leroy-Lexington blacktop. The light is about the size of a stop light and much more visible than the solar flashing lights on a sign that says Stop Ahead.
Will this stop deaths at this intersection?
One more thing the County can do: Make the rumble strips deeper. They should be at least be a little jarring to wake up drivers who aren’t paying attention. The current ones aren’t.
I couldn’t get a picture because I was driving.

Do you think Corey Beirne‑Scott, or Abby Beirne‑Scott would be open to listening to concerns from people in the community who identify as conservative or Republican? Would you even feel comfortable speaking to them? If you asked them for their consideration their first question back to you would be – Did you vote for Trump?
If you say yes, you are a non-entity to them. They have a larger purpose in mind that supersedes their responsibilities to local citizens. They are power seekers that are governed by the ill winds of TDS.
Time to Vote.
I’m going to keep on warning everyone, but the Democrats are going to push for the McLean County Public Safety and Mental Health sales tax money to go towards subsidized or government built “affordable housing.” None of it will go towards public safety (aside from the jail debt).
All the signs are aligning.
Democrats Run the County Board which spends the money.
Democratic Board apparently (per Abby Scott) passed a resolution to accept whatever recommendations the behavioral health committee presents for the sales tax money. No vote on any project, just a rubber stamp (I still haven’t found this in the board minutes or media yet).
Democrats on Bloomington Council are furious that conservative Sheila Montney is on the behavior health committee, and not a radical “housing is a right” Democrat from the city council (Ward, Scott, Hendricks, Kerns). They tried to smear her as ineffective or incompetent as part of a public media push to get Brady to appoint one of them instead.
Democrats in Bloomington and county have often been repeating the “housing is a right” slogan of the DSA.
Duffy is now running for normal city council, after young conservative-ish Andy Byers abandons his post. Duffy might be the most radical Democrat on the board. Now he wants to be on normal city council. I assume he wants to be appointed the the behavioral health committee.
Once the normal and Bloomington reps on the behavioral health committee are all ” housing is a right ” democratic Socialists, then they can use activist politics to fund their NGO friends and build government subsidized low income housing, just like their heros Mao, Stalin, and Mandami did. And remember , if you build it (free housing) the types of people who ” need it” will come. HSH already proved this, the Bridge program did nothing to reduce the homeless population, their own counts of homeless people in town show an increase year over year. The problem will get worse. We will get more and more homeless people in Bloomington, because incentives matter, and while they may have their own problems, they can see who is willing to give themselves more stuff.
Just wait for the new connect transit center is finished and we become a regional hub for migrant travel.
If the residents of district 10 don’t get out and vote this Cory beirne out of office they will obviously demonstrate that they all agree with his far far left ideologies. Anyone that supports the idea of killing someone is sick in the head and the fact that he would travel so far to a place that published a statement free beer to someone that kills our president speaks of his willingness for someone killing someone. Regardless of whether you agree with or not agree with our current leader and he sure does things that I don’t agree with I would never wish for someone to kill him or any of our other presidents that I have not liked.
Residents of 10 how say you?
I agree Bobby

I would also say that all of McLean county residents should show support, including monetary, to extract Beirne-Scott from all aspects of our local government.
