Both Bloomington and Normal are closing the pools, canceling fireworks, and other OUTDOOR event for the summer.

They must also think high humidity never happens in July.

The premise that a bicycle shop is essential as transportation infrastructure is a farce hahahaha. I can’t throw my tent on my motorcycle and go camping in a state park but I can shop for some handlebar tassels and sexy spandex shorts which is comforting I guess.
So it appears that behind every liberal socialist democrat is a totalitarian with an insane obsession for wanting to control ordinary people while delighting in the destruction of their culture and their economy?
Pretty much, yeah.
Even when I’m angrier than I think I’ve ever been at Normal’s mismanagement and disregard for the everyday citizen, I can’t help but look at things from different perspectives in hoping to find the best answers to complicated questions…
– Is this a power grab? Possibly.
– Is this sucking up to Pritzger trying to destroy the economy before the fall elections? Probably partially.
– Is this just a big eff yoo to the people and businesses of Normal that won’t suck up to Koos & Friends? Possibly.
– Is this just a dumb response dictated by baseless fear? Umm… Not exactly…
Koos has had health issues lately. Ones that, as I understand it, would put him into the ‘high risk’ group. While he seems to once again be disregarding the best interests of the average constituent, it’s likely his decision is colored by fear for his own safety or even life.
We’ve certainly passed the point where the lockdown is doing more damage to our people and society than the Wuhan virus ever would. And this is still very much yet another wrong decision, but at least this one I can have a little compassion for…

Maybe Koos SHOULD have gotten out and RODE a bicycle and RAN more in his life then going to mayors conventions and eating high fat foods. I have NO sympathy for the man. For MANY reasons…
As for this covid-19 lockdown which is a MAJOR BS economic destroyer and a power grab for “mental midgets” I would HOPE that AMERICAN once again rises up and NEVER elects another Democrat as long as I live, unless it’s a DINO!
I wish I would have thought of this sooner. Hopefully the march will be to the west on college. If so, marchers should position themselves around the circle in front of the Uptown mistake (Transfer Center-Bus). Stay in that area between 6pm and 6:30pm. That is used by WEEK during weather for their B/N cam. Maybe get a chabce to show there are people who dom’t believe in Comrade Koos bike shop and tsar Pritzker’s illegal actions.
Well brilliant, no summer sports commitments, we always do rec swimming. We will likely travel to the free states where pools will be open. Hoping 4 seasons will be brave and allow social distance swimming.
