A fly on the wall told me there might be some staffing issues going on in the town. Apparently there has been quite a bit of turnover and firings in some of the departments. Particularly finance and building maintenance. Maybe the new employees forgot about the report.
Maybe they’re hiding the purchase of two Rivian Vehicles.
I remember Stan asking if they were in the budget, Pam said no
Accounting firms are short staffed just like almost every other business. My mother’s accounting firm of 10 years dropped her as a client in August because they had to reduce the number of clients because of lack of staff. Why does there always have to be something nefarious going on? See the help wanted signs everywhere!

I heard some emergency services staff complained about having to work mandatory overtime because they were short staffed. Pam’s told them if they keep it up they would complain themselves out of a job.
