As Bloomington goes full on socialist know that Illinois enshrined socialism in the State Constitution way back in 1970. (Bloomington is considering tiered water rates, requiring private investment to pay prevailing wage – just to name a few)
We don’t have safety under the Safe-T Act.
We don’t have representative and orderly government when the County is taxed for the airport without a referendum and by democrats who don’t represent the rural areas. We don’t have orderly government when laws are changed merely to make the illegal legal. That doesn’t just apply to the Town of Normal. Dupage County was accused of not properly doing signature verification for mail in ballots. Instead of complying with the law, the law was recently changed.
The other underlined parts can not be done without taking from producers and giving it to those who don’t.
This is why Illinois is far less prosperous than surrounding states. Taxes are higher and so is unemployment.
This story is a setup for the next one. Stay tuned.
Biden is planning to give work permits to people who immigrated here from Venezuela. He and Illinois need to look at why they left their once prosperous country. Socialism destroyed it.
