Do Krystle Able, Corey Beirne, and Mike Matejka lock their doors?

By: Diane Benjamin

Evidently they have open door policies in their homes because they don’t want to protect McLean County from Biden’s invasion of the country – estimated now at 8 million people who walked across the border. These people know nothing about local and national laws, many expect to be taken care of by taxpayers. See Chicago and New York crying about having to cut essential services because they were silly enough to pass resolutions stating shelter, food, and healthcare for everyone is a human right regardless of citizenship. Biden forgot to warn them his agenda is to create chaos.

They think Texas should keep all of them!

These 3 and probably all the local left wingers think Chuck Erickson is a racist immigrant hating culture warrior for proposing the ordinance below that will be heard at Thursday’s County Board meeting. They have issued a Call to Action – interpret that as YOU need to pay for the Administrations failure to protect America from the invasion from countries all over the globe. It doesn’t matter they bring diseases we eradicated, some are criminals/terrorists, people are being trafficked/abused, and the FBI claims over 48,000 have tried to purchase guns.

Expect the best show so far this year. Republicans aren’t anti-immigrant, they are anti illegal immigrant with the citizens of McLean County getting billed for their care. Unit 5 has 1000 students enrolled in “English as a second language”. https://blnnews.com/2023/11/17/3-things-you-need-to-know-4/

Do the local leftist want you to pay for even more? There is supposedly a local housing shortage, where do they want these illegals to live? In their homes? Tent cities? Can they be that cruel?

Polls show this is a losing issue for the left. Illegal immigration is a slap in the face to legal immigrants who paid thousands of dollars to enter this country. Immigration law states it should benefit the country, not be a burden. Elections for County Board seats are this year. Thursday would be a good time to tune in and watch. The parade of bleeding-heart liberals is going to be priceless. The meeting starts at 5:30, it will be on the County YouTube page: https://www.youtube.com/@mcleancoil/streams

Since the County still has an illegal Public Comment policy, to speak you have to sign up 24 yours in advance: https://mcleanil.seamlessdocs.com/f/public_comment

Do laws matter? Find out Thursday. Check out their Facebook pages and the Not In Our Town page. Pure gold. Note: Matejka still hasn’t apologized for his role in building the Coliseum. He was on the Bloomington City Council and voted YES to build it.

It will be very hilarious to see how the local media reports on the happenings. Stay tuned.

  1. Of course it’ll be ridiculed and I disagree with it too. The last line should read “…..will not provide pubic funded service to ANY ILLEGAL ALIEN!” Period. (BTW, if the country did this we wouldn’t need a wall.)

  2. I purposely hit the west side McDonalds drive thru this morning and gave the homeless guy with the cardboard sign, a $10 bill with Mikey’s name and address written on a blank business card. Told him to stop by anytime if he ever needed help with anything else.

    1. Brilliant! Way to go OLD STANKY! We all should apply this technique to ALL local liberal politicians. I love it.

  3. Many counties and cities in Ilinois have already passed similar resolutions.

Nice to see Erickson being proactive on this issue locally.

I actually read the resolution. There is nothing racist about it – it simply states that no county funds will be used for these ‘migrants’ being shipped in from other states or cities. Common Sense.

Liberals crying racism are fake , they just want a dependent future voting base and cheap labor.

  4. Great Job and thanks to Chuck Erickson. Corey Beirne and the like need to be forced to consider the consequences of their simpleton thinking of inviting the citizens of the world to our country. Your welcoming proclamation needs to address the following.

    1. When/how will it stop? Most important.
    2. How much will it cost citizens? Taxing increases?
    3. What comes along with it and how will you deal with it? Ie drugs, human trafficking etc.
    4. Will human services be able to support it? Medical, education, transportation, housing, law enforcement? What are your contingencies?
    5. How much will American citizens on welfare or public aid have their support cut?
    6. Will non citizens be allowed to vote?
    7. How many more undocumented children will be released into the US without parents? Where are they?
    8. Are we welcoming the next 911?

Having the simpleton’s attitude that we won’t have to address these and other issues because at some point the problem will just go away isn’t acceptable. We see where that leads. (Chicago, New York, Portland, Seattle, California, Europe…)
You aren’t doing your job until you considering these things.

Sometimes caring about the world requires more than just saying welcome to my home.

    1. This is well written. I hope that you attend this Thursday County Board meeting. This is exactly what I will addressing with the County Board.

  5. Their end game is to overwhelm the system and create chaos. Wait until Social services are unable to provide housing, food, etc and empty out the local Sams/Wal-Mart, utilize the schools for housing and refuse to “talk” about it.

  6. I will just never understand why this country doesn’t enforce the immigration laws we have. Regardless of what side of the political isle one is on, these laws should be enforced. If one doesn’t agree with them, they should work to change them, through the system we have in place. In the meantime, enforce them. It’s really that simple.

  7. If we tell all the West students to attend NCHS, the people that decided to take advantage of our hospitality can bed down in West’s gymnasium.

No need to thank me Corrie.

  8. Have the illegal aliens stay with the local democrats. The mayors can set an example and open their homes first. Then all the council members can open their homes.

  9. The goal in all this from the left is to try to turn Texas from a Red state into a Blue state. Once that is done, everything else is in the bag.
