From this story:

How much of your money has been wasted on Proterra buses?
Since ADHD is both a blessing and a curse, I could have missed some payments. Note, Proterra filed for bankruptcy in August of 2023. The oldest electric buses are two years old this month.
Total parts purchases for electric buses in the last 2 years: $36,535.13. Evidently they don’t come with a warranty.
Total for purchased buses and infrastructure: $13,986,489. That is all money being thrown away because at the time of my FOIA only 1 was running. Old diesel buses were put back on the road and discussions have already taken place on what kind they will buy next. They aren’t talking about electric.
Do you ever get tired of government throwing way your money? This time $14,023,024!
Unlike when voters wiped out the Council who voted to build the Coliseum against the wishes of taxpayers, you can’t vote the Connect Board into retirement. Both Councils should recall their representatives. That will only happen if you demand it. Koos and Mwilambwe want the facts hidden, they picked the board members.

What does the liberal mind do when it sees its signaled virtue slipping away because it is revealed that its decisions (that everyone else warned them about) are failing miserably?
A. Denial
B. Blame others
C. Call opposition names
D. Ignore it
E. Double down (do more of the same)
F. Claim misinformation
G. Censor discussion
H. Hide
I. Admit the mistake and change course.
The best use for those electric busses would be as a static display attraction right next to the steam locomotive at Miller Park.
Or line them up in front of the world’s ugliest mural at Miller park.
Just like Solyndra, the real objective was to funnel money (our tax dollars) to friends of leftist progressive marxist democrats. Same thing with Proterra. The get our money. The buses are Lemons. There are zero consequences to Proterra. The tax payer is left holding the empty bag.
Had a good laugh reading the story about labor shill Matekja going to Washington to tell Biden what a great job federal money was doing for the local economy. He sited Rivian and Connect Transit as success stories. Then below the story, pics of ” labor leader” John Penn retirement dinner with pictures of Dan Brady and the Dobskis. Phonies every last one of them. No wonder BN is doomed.
