A Facebook page for parents of Unit 5 kids has been taken down. It only lasted a few days. Many parents appreciated a place to discuss school issues, County Board member Krystle Able didn’t.
Under socialism you aren’t allowed to even have causal conversations against the elites. You are expected to only praise Unit 5 and not discuss any policies the school system doesn’t want publicized.
The page was not political, it was there for parents. Attacks like the below took away your right in information. The administrator of the page who responded was perfect. Krystle led the attacks and now it’s gone. Isn’t socialism great?
Interesting how socialism works. Power to the people until regime change. Then you have less voice than you started with.
How sad that they shut it down! I wish I would have known about this; I would have gotten back on FB again for that alone. Let me know if the page comes back up. I’ll be there for sure.
I’m sure Cory Beirne was 100% with Able but being a teacher prudently (uncommon for him) decided to let someone else stick their neck out. Having parents ask Corey’s District Equity Leadership Team a few questions would not be comfortable for Corey.
It sounds like Able feels threatened in some way which should lead one to believe she is up to something herself.
Ultimately I’m really encouraged that there are/were parents in Unit 5 organizing outside of the board of education meetings. It was SO disappointing seeing little or no participation in that venue.
All due respect out of the first 36 posts 34 were censored.

I’m not surprised. She probably had her local communist friends contact FB with a barrage of complaints. In spite of this setback, it definitely puts a fine point on what the parents of this school district are up against. More children need to be saved from this cesspool and go to private school or Homeschool.

Do we have confirmation as to who took it down? Is there someone behind the curtain forcing it down or other reasons at play here?
The left can’t stand being in the spotlight in any negative manner. Shout them down. Lie about them. Don’t let them speak. Try to discredit them. Or if all fails, ANTIFA is sent in for the scare.
Another example of how organized the left is on social media and how antiquated our party is here in McLean county. No quick reaction force monitoring social media platforms, this is a perfect college kid level republican opportunity that could and should have been organized a long time ago.
But hey. We have nation builder.
