Inflation: The visual

By: Diane Benjamin

How much do you think the price of this can of dog food has increased in recent years:

I’ve been buying this for years and I have receipts.

I bought some Saturday:

The older receipts are fading, but still readable. 2022:

How about 2021:

The can now could even be suffering from shrinkflation. The price went up almost 87% in 3 years.

  1. little here…little there

    common folk will never notice
people with no assets or family wealth don’t feel it as much as nirmal worker bees

    sad stat of affairs

  2. Two words: corporate greed.

They’re still making up what they lost from when the world shut down. And they’ll never lower their prices. No president can change it, it’s global.
