The Democrat party didn’t move right. Nobody believed after the almost 4 years of chaos they suddenly realized the error of their ways. Even moderates aren’t that stupid.
What she wrote is the real Democrat Party goals. Moderates no longer exist pm the left. Thankful they will only have the power to obstruct in DC.
Locally, not so much. Should be a fun 2 years here watching them finish wrecking the County.
The media is just as clueless as her. They didn’t bother to find out why Trump won in 2016 and they won’t this time either.

You’re funny. Sit back and watch the Democrats do a whole bunch of nothing on the County Board. All they will accomplish is getting the public comment and virtual participation rules they keep on about. I doubt we see any major changes in the county. The Democrats have about as little vision for our community as the McGOP laughing stock has. You’re worried about Able and you shouldn’t be. She’s had two years to accomplish something and she’s done nothing. The local Democrats don’t even support her. Hell, the local Republicans don’t support most of the Republicans! Watching Erickson’s social media meltdowns over the last two days is so embarassing for him. But it’s not like any of the Republicans are going to get off their asses and take over the party leadership. Did Erickson do ANYTHING to help Clauss get elected? He is spending so much time crying online that he hasn’t even publicly acknowledged the man who is taking his seat. Democrats held only 5 seats 4 cycles ago. Now they have 12. Republicans are going to have a tough time making that ground up when all they have to offer the people is bullshit and junior high cafeteria squabbles online.
I remember when democrats wanted elections moved out of churches and away from crisis pregnancy centers. Then reality hit them in the face.
Even though I lived some 39 years in your State I AM SO GLAD I no longer live in Marxist-Stalinist-Communist Illinois!! Its scenery is still beautiful [except for the growing numbers of ‘ugly wind turbines’ that populate its fertile farm fields…and yes, my State also has them 🙁 but not where I can see them. ] The area I lived (in the County just north of B-N), the people were (mostly) hard working COMMON SENSE patriotic farmers….and CAT, State Farm or Country Company employees) and back then, the vast majority of counties were Red (other than Peoria). I still have close family members (and many older friends) still living there and many…if they could…would move to a (current) Red state. Presidents Lincoln, and Reagan have to be very tired of turning-over-in-their-graves in disgust for what has been allowed (BY VOTERS) to over take their once patriotic and prosperous (now) “DEEP BLUE” State! 🙁 🙁
