These clowns think they have a right to obstruct the picks made by the elected President of the United States. His picks are only dangerous to the continuation of business as usual. He was elected to obstruct business as usual.
One party confirms who the president picks, one doesn’t. Trump was elected in a landslide. He deserves to have the people in charge he vetted. Obviously bipartisan government won’t be possible.
The American people are tired of being lied to. The American people are tired of political warfare. The American people are tired of obstructionists.

Republicans do this at the national level all the time. Then-Sen. J.D. Vance was one of eight Republicans last year who signed a letter vowing to block all of Biden’s appointments. Sen. Mike Lee literally said on Twitter from his Congressional account and in the letter that “We are no longer cooperating with any Democrat legislative priorities or nominations.” You’re just acting performatively outraged because it’s happening to the party you are affiliated with.
Last year? How about 4 years ago. Last year everyone knew Biden’s picks were a joke.

Why would you think that? Because I said you’re angry that Democrats are making a case for blocking appointees when Republicans do the exact same thing? That makes no sense.
What gives them the right to contact senators that don’t answer to them? They would be appalled if red states flooded our senators with post cards
Also, it’s now the current Republican president who has said he wants to staple green cards to diplomas, annex Canada into the U.S. (if you think immigration is an issue here, read about what has happened there) and has softened his position on who, if anyone, would be deported in a mass deportation, and supported the expansion of H-1B visas at the expense of American workers. The next four years are not going to go how a lot of people expected or wanted.

You must mean LEGAL immigration. People who aren’t a burden on taxpayers should be given opportunity. It’s illegal that doesn’t benefit anyone but states who need added population because theirs left
This shows that the local Democrats are organized. They are organized to act at both the national and local levels. AND they are winning at the local level…McLean County was not long ago DEEP RED. The Democrats have even been successful keeping local RINOs in office.
I hope the local Republicans take this as a wake up call.

If politicians wanted to fix Social Security they could give it a try by eliminating the maximum taxable income cap, which is currently at $176,100 for 2025. Think of how much more money Social Security would have if everyone with income above $176,100 had to pay the tax on all of their income. But neither side will do it. Given that the left wants everyone to be dependent on the government I am surprised they haven’t pushed for it.
Biden just granted SS to government employees who get lavish pensions. One party wants SS destroyed fast.

That would not fix Social Security but make it that people pay beyond “their fair share.” Fixing Social Security is creating opportunities for people to fund their own retirement and not rely on a system that was set up to fail from the start.
If you want to “fix” Social Security’s funding problems, look at retirement ages.
