Remember the 1% Sales Tax approved by voters last March? Remember the investigation into election interference by the school districts? https://justthenews.com/nation/states/center-square/mclean-county-sheriff-investigating-alleged-election-interference
The sheriffs office completed their investigation – the report has been sitting in the State’s Attorneys office for awhile now. Does Ericka Reynolds think people are going to forget about it?
Remember what voters were told this tax would be used for? https://april1cent.info/

.
District 87, according to WGLT, is planning to use that money for operations: https://www.wglt.org/local-news/2025-07-16/district-87-planning-around-federal-grant-funding-delays-change-in-snap-eligibility-requirements

.
Were voters deceived? Dr. Mouser plans to use the 1% sales tax funds for things it wasn’t approved for. Property tax relief won’t happen. Districts will use increased assessed values to increase property taxes.
Both District 87 and Unit 5 are crying about federal grant money that hasn’t been received. Maybe screen shots from both were sent to the Department of Education showing radical policies . Maybe the Department of Education knows Illinois promotes these policies and the governor demands them. Maybe the Feds want kids educated instead of indoctrinated.
No one is going to hold Dr. Mouser accountable for misdirection of funds. We will be lucky if the State’s Attorney makes an announcement about election interference.
This is a popup on the 1% Sales Tax website:

.
When your property tax bills do not decrease next year, remember you were lied to.
The WGLT story proves why federal funding was ended for PBS and NPR. This line is in the story: The director of the OMB is Russell Vought, a Christian nationalist who played a major role in creating a conservative initiative reshaping the government called Project 2025.
Putting left wing talking points in a story about federal funding of local schools is a distraction, not journalism.
The “Christian nationalist” link goes to story that can’t be read without a subscription.
A Christian nationalist is anyone who believes RIGHTS come from God, not government. Since the country was founded on that belief because it prevents government from creating or removing rights as it sees fit, the majority of Americans agree with that philosophy. Progressives believe they create “rights”, not God, that is why the term “Christian nationalist” was created and called dangerous. It is dangerous to their agenda.
The left vilified Project 2025 as an election tactic. Has anyone at WGLT actually read it? Has anyone on the left bothered to read it?
Project 2025 is a comprehensive plan to reduce the size and scope of the federal government through common sense policies. The plan is 40 years old. Read more here: https://www.heritage.org/press/project-2025-publishes-comprehensive-policy-guide-mandate-leadership-the-conservative-promise

When and where can we vote out MOUSER???
Nowhere because school board is fixed
Or as our local Social Marxist Corey Beirne says on his Facebook page -“Do you want the federal government to pay for these programs or do you want your property taxes to rise to pay for them?”
Translated – You better let us indoctrinate your children or you will pay!
The simple answer to educational funding is – DROP THE CRITICAL RACE THEORY BASED EDUCATION AND TEACH OUR KIDS HOW TO READ, WRITE, AND DO MATH. TEACH THEM HOW TO THINK, NOT WHAT TO THINK!
Corey Burnes is a Marxist Communist, that uses passive aggressive rhetoric to gain sympathy and attention. Krystal Able also is a self admitted Communist Socialist that already has hired the former Township Supervisor as an “assistant” to perform all of her duties, due to her busy schedule and lack of availability. The Township gave themselves a pay raise, “illegal”. Krystle fired a newly hired bookkeeper for finding a multitude of accounting errors and disclosing them at the public meeting, missing funds, funds mis allocated, single signatures on disbursements, missing receipts.
So Krystle sent the bookkeeper a text, “I accept your resignation. Leave the premises!” The bookkeeper had never sent a resignation letter. She was fired through a forced resignation.
There’s a note on the Township door, call for appointment, due to staffing issues.
$85,000 a year and Krystle can’t make it in at lease 9-5 M-F for her constituents?
She kept her previous job too
Exactly not like the county board can oversee the budgets for the township and all or anything. There’s no issue with this sitting on the county board and being the Township commissioner there’s no problem at all. It would just be like being on the county board and being on the school board or being the school board president. Being on the county board and also being say sheriff or state attorney that depends on the budget from the county. Nothing wrong with that just like the married couples that sit on various boards in this county and towns.
She keep her CEO job of a nonprofit
In addition, she has NOT forwarded the County Boards Ethics complaint to the Attorney Generals Office. The complaint concerning the Illegal solicitation of campaign funds by Elizabeth Johnston at the County Offices. Perhaps the fairness of elections, certain candidates campaigns, or those in one particular party in McLean County are exempt from blind Justice.
Looks like Bloomington blueprint
Not to mention the identical election “algorithm” of mysterious software corrections for a certain party, found in 2016 that has continued in every election since, in McLean County and most of Illinois. A very predictive curve for one party.
Forget about the lack of enforcement on Orders of Protection in our County by any of our tax funded Authorities.
Oh and don’t try to Pro Se your Defense and bring your phone to the Court House. That’s a NO NO. Unless your have a Bar membership. Magically that allows you to carry your phone for referencing your notes in court. But not a Pro Se Citizen.
Just because “We are McLean County and the Chief Judge Says so! We don’t care about the Constitution or what the Illinois Supreme Court Orders! We are special here and you can’t do anything about it!”
It’s time for a Constitutional audit of the Courthouse.
Maybe that’s why I was excused from grand jury duty without ever showing up!
You were denied your constitutional right to sit on a jury?
Grand no less
Reynolds is not a very good States Attorney.
