They passed a referendum to raise property taxes. They got their precious sales tax through. How in the WORLD are they still passing budgets with $300k deficits?!?!?
It’s always been a spending problem. Indoctrination is expensive
Higher Property Values due to higher assessments, due to a temporary and government created (Rivian) housing shortage. This will Put an entire economic class well below the reach of home ownership and force them into rental properties for decades. Which only makes the owners and government more wealthy. So why would the government change anything?
The local government will Attract those jobs that pay a median wage that’s just enough to survive with a little extra for weekends, small trips, and the occasional vacation. But not enough to escape through the traditional “savings” methods. Our schools don’t teach children how to view money as a tool, how to invest, save, or even manage it for the future, save for large purchases, or even how debt really
works. Society pushes everyone to have material, clothes, cars, phones, big, newer, latest, fastest. When instead the best option is to save a little each month, sacrifice that coffee and in a year buy an investment that will grow your money. Start out in a 401k, Roth, or IRA and add to it. But don’t touch it. Long term.
Then later invest in property. Let your money make residual income and diversify, look for smart people needing investments in businesses and let them do the work, and pay you a dividend, little more risk sometimes but higher reward. Heck, buy an eight foot wood 4X4 post at the lumber yard, cut every 1/2” one square, sand them, lacquer, put a brand or sticker, paint design or just clear coat, tie a set of four coasters together with twine and sell them either online or at the local farmers market $16-$25 a set. There’s 196 half inches in 8’ minus the saw blade cuts, probably get about 192 square. Think about finding a nice big branch about 4” across.
Because, the elites in government, education, and academics view anyone without any type of “Degree” in a negative connotation and are to be used merely as labor. “Labor that “anyone” can do!”, is a quote I’ve heard by so many arrogant and ignorant government bureaucrats or academics that have never had to “work”.
The left is creating their “Utopia”, but it’s their version and YOU have to accept it in you little apartment, with your small life, drinking their flavors of beer, following their rules, and paying their taxes, working their jobs. Don’t settle, “Hustle”, sell something, create something, do a service that people will pay you for, and make your own destiny.
If this is true, there needs to be a very strong community STAND against this… and they are LIARS. And/ or we’ll need to MOVE away because the majority cannot afford such an increase. This is dictator-like taxation– and for the purpose of destroying all our kids and grandkids minds– and it makes me sick! We need to FIRE these people…

So we know why the Bible says in the end times everything on earth will be EVIL… THIS TRANS STUFF will be a major contributor as our public schools and state are brainwashing our kids and grandkids into believing this BS CULT (pardon my French) and pushing them to take action on it to DESTROY EVERYTHING OF VALUE these kids and young people ever had… their MENTAL health, their PHYSICAL health, they FAITH health, and their entire FAMILY and LOVE… so that they will have NOTHING as they make their deal with the devil!
Unit 5 AND Teachers unions AND ILLINOIS are controlled by Satan for this very purpose!
If there is still a CONSERVATIVE MAJORITY out there– including EMPLOYEES OF UNIT5– you all better start SPEAKING OUT or you will not be able to afford your own house as your taxes support this garbage! 🤮

She was brainwashed in unit5 with “all things lgbt” before the public knew about this trans stuff happening in our public schools, before 2018.

This state representative video hits the nail on the head about IL. The problem is with districting the Democrats will almost always control Springfield. At a local level groups of individuals committed to reducing school district taxes need to run for the school board and commence whacking their budgets. The school districts spending is out of control.
Exactly what I think when I drive by the old State Farm building on Oakland Ave, where they ripped up the landscaping for what looks like a horrid eyesore. District 87 Supt. goes on WJBC and raves about all the good things about it. BS, another school district waste of tax dollars!
