I will address each of his comments by number:
- Alex Williams depises Fox News viewers. The result is he hates the parents of Unit 5 students who watch Fox News and therefore their children. While hate is a strong word, let me interpret what Williams said: You voted for Donald Trump and are therefore uneducated.
- I hope Williams doesn’t claim to be a Christian because point 1 applies to him.
- Williams is black. If blacks face racism “woven into society” how did he work at State Farm for over 16 years? How did he get job at Countries Companies as Corporate Communications Manager? How did he achieve “The American Dream”. Is he trying to say he never could have succeeded based on being good at his jobs? Is he saying he’s an Affirmative Action and DEI hire?

The left calls Trump supporters a “cult” because they don’t care about why people support MAGA. They don’t want to be informed or reach across the aisle to have conversations. “Cult” gives them permission to vilify and dismiss anyone who doesn’t totally agree with them. Williams comments were written on the same day Charlie Kirk was murdered, although before that it happened. This post gives permission to the unhinged to attack the opposition. Nice job Alex Williams. I wonder what prevented him for doing another post celebrating the murder? Williams thinks he’s a communications expert?
Williams is obviously a left wing hack who repeats whatever talking points he is fed.
He is unfit to serve where his decisions affect children.
Unit 5 has been failing to educate for years. They will “affirm” whatever delusions students have and they are probably actively promoting far left wing values and telling kids they can change their gender.

The petition is asking for 200 signatures, right now they have 129. Make it go WAY over 200. Idealogues like Alex Williams are too dangerous be anywhere near other people’s children.
Wow! Way to promote cancel culture Diane! You realize that we have a president who just called a member of congress “Scum” the other day. But, hey, feel free to ignore that and attack Alex over a post that’s more innocuous than most of the comments on your blog. Good golly! It’s one thing to call out his post and criticize him if you disagree with him, but to call on him to be fired or demand his resignation over that post is ridiculous. It’s literally the definition of “cancel culture.” You guys keep pushing cancel culture and it’ll blow up in your face just like it did for the left.
Also, in what way does that post incite violence?!? C’mon Diane. You’re better than that. Even most of your readers, who Im sure disagree with his sentiments and might be offended by them, realize that he is not encouraging violence through that post.

Williams decides what happens in Unit 5 schools to kids. If his ideology allows offensive comments about Trump voters he can’t make rational decisions about curriculum either
Yeah, fine. People know what they got when they voted for Trump. Agreed. Williams was also elected. I voted for him. There were PLENTY of forums for voters to hear from all the candidates, including right-wing ones. Voters chose Williams. One of the reasons I voted for him was because he speaks his mind and I agree with what he said. If y’all dont like that then, I dont know, maybe try winning a school board election. Oh wait, you guys already tried that. And LOST BIGLY.

Regardless of how anyone feels in no way should he be promoting or broadcasting his political views.
I for one agree that he needs to be removed from his position.
And this has absolutely nothing to do with my political views although one has to wonder if those that support this kind of rhetoric would motivate a young impressionable mind to commit a horrendous act such as killing someone that they disagree with.

Governor Cox of Utah after the assassination of Charlie Kirk pleaded urging that we all need to learn how to “disagree better”. I wonder if Governor Cox could be persuaded to comment on Mr. Williams’ post.
I can’t help but comment again after re-reading Mr.Williams comments, you sir have just proved through your ignorant comments that you indeed are living the American dream by being hired solely because of the color of your skin can’t be because of any intelligence affirmative action quotas met!

I signed the petition. Anyone that says America is systematic racist should:
1. Prove it with facts, not rmpty rhetoric.
2. If they can’t prove it, they should leave their position.
3. Leave America.

Both of his former employers were a perfect fit for his ideology. Strange he pivoted , must have been the pension.
As a propone of freedom of verbal amd written word and advocate of 1st Amendment rights and communications in all peaceful forms (and others), both parties systematically enabled targeting and BAD/semi illegal profiling and sabotaging people’s lives and job opportunities. They all got bonus/contracts and raises and influence.
Affirmative action is built into the process and system and recruiting/ marketing and hiring now at most all orgs in BN and Central Illinois. App abuses, data breaches are galore of all types (internal and vendor and public/private partnerships. Social scoring/ profiling (aka business intelligence/risk mgt and data analytics) was ram rodded in and heavily funded by our taxes most likely (now everyone is a target)
As someone that has been targeted and used in “test” and then harassed in the name of reputation, recruiting, communications and bad systems/process and data handlers/projects damage is very widespread and clear. Until people/consumers/taxpayers stick up for themselves and ask how things work and question and demand answers and follow the money (left and right) and education/school districts and big industry projects nothing will improve.
People are left jobless and moneyless locally and zero people are standing up for any of it.
Clearly U it 5 and other orgs have major privacy and communication and process issues needing addressed. Blessings!!
@ Alex WIlliams and Be aBetter lemming: 1) Sadly, there are too many closed minds. Opposition is thrown into a category and therefore relegated into obscurity. 2) Christians who love God, “see” God in so many good deeds that happen on earth of which they personally experience. 3) I am thankful that America has come a very long way in combating racism in many ways as opposed to many countries that don’t even try as their religions and cultures, strictly forbid it. 4) People are just people, imperfect for a myriad of reasons. 5) Check your thoughts and look in the mirror.
