According to Carl, the Bloomington Township assigned multiplier was only low because the assessor jacked up many property values!
Protests have to filed by 10/29/26. Carl will show you how to file yours.
To clarify: This refers to the City of Bloomington Township and not Bloomington Township. Also, every parcel in the City of Bloomington Twp. got a multiplier of 3.85%. Numerous older subdivisions were revalued for an increase of anywhere from a 6 to 16% . I advise checking your multiplier notice closely. Two figures are important – the multiplier at 3.85 and what YOUR parcel is being valued at. If they do not match then you got an additional increase in your assessment. Deadline to appeal is 10/29/26.
