“Please don’t forget the Oath of Office you took.”
Our elected officials are supposed to take the Oath of Office before they begin a term of serving the public, but it seems too many view it more as the Joke of Office they tell before they begin a term of serving themselves.
It’s time for each of us to find and support true public servant candidates.
If you can’t find one to support, find one to recruit.
If you can’t find one to recruit, then become one yourself – we’re better off with officials who may not be fully skilled at public office than we are with those who are well-skilled at deceit and public corruption.
Very well stated Art. Now, will any of them read it? I sure hope so.
