My original FOIA was to the Comptroller’s Office. After playing games with extensions for 3 weeks I received this from them:
In case you can’t read the tiny print, it says:
The Office of the Comptroller cannot complete this request with the information provided as many of the grant recipients announced on the DHS website are not certified to receive payments from the office. We would suggest contacting the state agency, DHS, and have them provide the contract number(s) that relates to this grant.
The bold is mine, the grant recipients did receive money. How were checks written to unqualified recipients?
I received the information with a FOIA directly to IDHS.
Illinois was divided into 5 regions for these grants. My FOIA was only for: Region 3 – North Central Illinois. This area got 18 grants out of the 184. Since the website did not say how much each organization received, I added them.
Total is $450,000
166 other organization received grants. Pretend each one got around $20,000. That is $3,320,000 spent to make sure racism is never forgotten.
The grant documents reference an organization named The Field Foundation. Their website claims they are a private independent foundation that supports community power building. https://fieldfoundation.org/
In 2024 the State of Illinois handed them $4,891,511.83 according to Open The Books:

Leftists (Social Marxists) are pretty sneaky. Now that Equity has FINALLY been found out, corporations, universities, the federal government and state governments, are running from it like the plague. So the Marxists quickly invent a new word for it to fool the gullible again – “Racial Healing”. Sadly it will work for a while and they will rake in millions of dollars in the meantime.
James Lyndsay says it this way. “Call everything you want to control ‘racist’ until it is fully under your control.”
This is a Marxist tactic plain and simple.
But then white organizations are demonized as if reverse discrimination does not exist. I do not have a problem with folks wanting to be equal but it needs to be understood and stop right there. Equal. Not extra special with more rights and benefits blamed on the past. Be equal, be happy, and just get on with life.
