Is “woke” Weikle only hiring woke teachers? Would you expect a superintendent who used pronouns to hire teachers that aren’t “woke”?

Doesn’t that sound like “woke” staff is allowed to discuss their political beliefs and sexual preferences with your kids? Is that their “authentic selves”?
That Educational Equity requires dumbing down all students to the same level.
If you didn’t stop and read the Federalist article, do it now. Many schools no longer exist to educate. Unit 5 should not get another dollar until they focus on the essentials of education, not anti-racism ideology and comprehensive sexual education.
You already know most Town of Normal Trustees believe everything staff tells them. The Unit 5 School Board is no different. Early next year a school board that doesn’t blindly follow needs to be elected, they supposedly represent taxpayers. There was a rumor the Board unanimously approved the radical sexual education because they were told they would lose funding if they didn’t. Not true!
One Illinois School Board gets it, Unit 5 is doing the opposite of Red Bud. This School District isn’t wasting tax dollars on left wing ideology, Unit 5 is and they want you to give them more:
Unit 5 is pushing for a referendum on the November ballot. They want voters to decide if they deserve more of our hard earned tax dollars. I say HECK NO. Unit 5 used to be an excellent school district. They are riding on the coat tails of that former good reputation. They no longer deserve the accolades of that former good reputation. Proficiency for math and reading are awful. Diversity Equity Inclusion and Comprehensive Sex Education are now their focus. In addition to that, children are no longer safe in public schools. Girls and boys have to share bathrooms. Fights break out nearly everyday because they refuse to permanently expell the reprobate troublemakers. Please Homeschool your children or send them to private school. Please do not subject your children to this garbage.
I’m confused, why wouldn’t you want young people to be taught sex education in schools? Don’t you think that’s important knowledge to have to promote safe sex and, thus, hopefully combat the number of unwanted pregnancies that lead to abortions? Isn’t that what Republicans want after all?
Also, isn’t the whole “All Lives Matter” movement statement basically an acknowledgement of equity? The right should be all for it!
They aren’t teaching sex Ed. See the national standard. All lives have always mattered, see the Founding documents. They want everybody equal which means putting everyone at the lowest common denominator
The national standard is pretty low. Again, you’d think that teaching how to say no and what is unacceptable touching at a young age is important. Guess not.
