Patrick Dullard continued to question signatures until the County Clerk’s office closed yesterday. Attorney David Shestokas objected to everything Dullard stated, DULLard didn’t care. His effort was a complete waste of time because his objection can not be amended. He didn’t challenge correctly the first time, he’s finished.
Therefore: He should get a bill for David Shestokas’s time, Brian Day’s time, and Angie Hounker’s time.
Below is an excerpt from the filing by David as attorney for Citizens for a Better Normal. Monday at 3:00, Normal Council Chambers, we will find out if laws matter in Normal. We need a packed room! I predict at least a few fireworks.
Dullard thinks he can ignored the above and continued to waste everyone’s time anyway. I wonder who his attorney that he never made public is? 😁 His latest amended complaint (that isn’t legal) doesn’t look like he wrote it!
David Shestokas is not working for free! Nobody should expect services to be given away, especially since he does not live here!

So this entire initiative is your personal vendetta against the mayor of Normal and the city manager. Also you don’t live in Normal so you really have no dog in this fight.

Parents that didn’t install responsibility
Our public schools are literally teaching them to be that way. ISU has occasional PSAs posted in bathrooms. In theory a good thing, in practice not always a bad thing.
Semi-recently there was one promoting ‘Integrity’. I remember their primary point was ‘be true to yourself and your values’, and there was ZERO mention of honesty or anything close to it (unless apparently it was already one of your values). Public schools teach our kids that facts, truth, and honesty don’t matter unless you want them to.

Trump has nothing to do with this. I did not vote for him, nor do I like the jerk. This is about the “haves” vs. the “have nots.” I live in west Normal and we “have not” representation in local government. Our roads suck, my basement backs up with raw sewage when it storms, and my tap water is rusty half of the year. Reporting these problems to the town has done nothing. Normal denied my insurance claims, won’t fix the mains to stop other peoples shit from flowing into my basement, and say the water is safe to drink despite the color! This “blog” is filled with Trumpers, but that does not mean they are wrong on this issue. (That was hard to type.) Put your Trump card away, it does not apply here! People like you, who look at everything through “orange man bad” goggles are going to screw things up US who “have not” a single council person. @ LP Miller. This petition does nothing to change Normal’s Town government which is a Trustee/City Manager form of government.
This petition is about equal representation based on our Constitutional principles; of the people, for the people, and by the people.
The United States’ form of government is a Representative Republic and Confederation of States. The best representation occurs closest to the people, such as in districts.
That is why “at-large” representation has been challenged in the courts and ruled as discriminatory.
